Illness during Scheduled PTO. If employee is on PTO for vacation purposes and suffers a disability that extends beyond five (5) work days (40 hours), employee is expected to notify immediate supervisor as soon as possible. Upon receipt of the Short Term Disability (STD) Plan paperwork, employee’s absence may be paid from the STD Plan.
