Common use of Illnesses Clause in Contracts

Illnesses. In an effort to keep everyone safe, parents must notify the administrative staff of any diagnosis of a communicable disease within the household. Our administrative staff will protect the privacy of students and their families. The student may only return to the program with clearance from the physician. In the event a student exhibits symptoms of any communicable disease while at school, he/she will be excluded from participation in the program and the parents will be immediately notified. Parents are required to pick up the ill student within 45 minutes of notification. Accidents Basic first aid treatment (cleansing with soap and water, ice, and band-aids) will be provided in the event of an accident/injury when deemed appropriate. Any injury that requires more than the basic treatments will require a parent coming to the school to determine if professional medical care is needed. In the event of a medical emergency, the aftercare staff will call 911 as well as the parents. An accident report will be completed and available to the parent/guardian upon request.
