Immediate Suspension. 18.6.1 Notwithstanding other provisions of this Article, an employee against whom disciplinary action is to be taken may be immediately suspended with pay upon verbal notification pending a hearing. 18.6.2 This verbal notification shall be followed by service upon the employee of the written notice set forth in 18.4.2.
