IMPACT OF TEMPORARY PROMOTION. If an employee’s rate of pay at the time of their scheduled vacation is based upon the employee temporarily performing work in a job with a higher rate of pay than the employee’s regular job and the University postpones the employee’s vacation, the employee shall be entitled to that higher rate of pay for the purposes of establishing vacation pay, if at the time of the employee’s rescheduled vacation their then current rate of pay is lower.
