Impact on mortality. Apart from benefiting the health system, XXXXXX is expected to have a positive impact on society by encouraging active ageing and increasing the quality of life of the elderly. Therefore, the model calculates the value of the expected reduction in mortality (assumed to be 35%), as the value of one extra QALY year7, which is assumed to be €30,000 as in Xxxxxx (2012). The expected annual reduced mortality is computed by multiplying the number of deaths due to each disease by the DOREMI deployment level and by the parameter on mortality reduction (35%). Since XXXXXX can help reducing the prevalence of the three illnesses, the expected mortality reduction for the three of them is added up in order to obtain the expected total reduction due to DOREMI. Figure 9 and Figure 10 show the results by country in each deployment level. In the first scenario, the estimated reduction goes from 33 deaths less in Luxembourg to an 8,500 deaths reduction in Germany. In the second scenario, the reduction is above 15,000 deaths in Germany and above 8,000 in Italy, Poland, UK, Romania and France. In the EU as a whole, the expected reduced mortality would be 49,181 people in the low deployment scenario and 98,362 in the high. 7 One QALY is equal to 1 year of life in perfect health.   • Interest Rates; Benchmark Notification The interest rate on a Loan denominated in dollars may be derived from an interest rate benchmark that may be discontinued or is, or may in the future become, the subject of regulatory reform. Upon the occurrence of a Benchmark Transition Event, Section 2.14(b) provides a mechanism for determining an alternative rate of interest. The Administrative Agent does not warrant or accept any responsibility for, and shall not have any liability with respect to, the administration, submission, performance or any other matter related to any interest rate used in this Agreement, or with respect to any alternative or successor rate thereto, or replacement rate thereof, including without limitation, whether the composition or characteristics of any such alternative, successor or replacement reference rate will be similar to, or produce the same value or economic equivalence of, the existing interest rate being replaced or have the same volume or liquidity as did any existing interest rate prior to its discontinuance or unavailability. The Administrative Agent may select information sources or services in its reasonable discretion to ascertain any interest rate used in this Agreement, any component thereof, or rates referenced in the definition thereof, in each case pursuant to the terms of this Agreement, and shall have no liability to the Borrower, any Lender or any other person or entity for damages of any kind, including direct or indirect, special, punitive, incidental or consequential damages, costs, losses or expenses (whether in tort, contract or otherwise and whether at law or in equity), for any error or calculation of any such rate (or component thereof) provided by any such information source or service.

  • Equivalence The importing Party shall accept the sanitary and phytosanitary measures of the exporting Party as equivalent, even if these measures differ from its own measures, if the exporting Party objectively demonstrates to the importing Party that its measures achieve the importing Party's appropriate level of sanitary and phytosanitary protection. For this purpose, reasonable access shall be given, upon request, to the importing Party for inspection, testing, and other relevant procedures.

  • Mileage Measurement Where required, the mileage measurement for LIS rate elements is determined in the same manner as the mileage measurement for V&H methodology as outlined in NECA Tariff No. 4.

  • Accrual of Seniority Seniority shall accrue during: (a) the first one hundred and nineteen (119) calendar days of sick leave including time on E.I. sick benefit or Income Replacement Benefits under the Automobile Insurance Act; (b) unpaid leaves of absence up to and including one hundred and sixty-eight (168) work hours in a calendar year; (c) hours absent while receiving benefits from the Worker’s Compensation Board; (d) temporary positions, out-of-scope of any union, with the Employer not to exceed twelve (12) months unless extended by mutual agreement with the union; (e) bereavement leave, pressing necessity leave, family responsibility leave, medical care leave; (f) jury duty and court service; (g) vacation leave; (h) leave for elected Public Office; (i) union leave; (j) all maternity/paternity/adoption/parental leave; (k) education leave up to twenty-four (24) months. (l) Long-term disability or Income Replacement Benefits under the Automobile Insurance Act.   • Interest Rates and Letter of Credit Fee Rates Payments and Calculations (a) Interest Rates.
