Implementation of communication strategy for TIDE. TIDE uses a variety of media to increase the visibility of its work not only in communities that buffer PHMR, but also nationally and internationally. These include newsletters, annual reports, a Facebook fan page and a website. During this AOP, KfW project funds will be used to contract the services of a professional web designer to revamp the TIDE website (xxx.xxxxxxxxxx.xxx) ($4,000). In addition, KfW funds will be used to purchase information technology items (IT office chair, internal hard drives for computers, wireless routers, mice, etc.) $2,500 that will aid internal and external communication. These will be purchased directly by TIDE from one vendor. TIDE staff will provide input and guidance to the web designer as a counterpart contribution ($500). TIDE has also secured $7,000 of additional counterpart funding for the advancement of its communication strategy.
