Common use of In Lieu of Benefits Clause in Contracts

In Lieu of Benefits. 39.01 Employees will receive an additional ten percent (10%) per hour paid in lieu of benefits. These benefits include but are not limited to the following: Life Insurance, Major Medical, Vision Care, Dental Plan and Paid Holiday (the lieu day, if worked) uniform allowance, and sick credits. Clarification Note: Employees will continue to receive vacation pay and pension in addition to the percent in lieu.
