In-Service For Community Education a. Teachers shall be paid at the regular contract rate for in−service. In−service hours will be during the first day district−wide orientation as per the negotiated calendar and specific program in−service for the remaining portion of the first day (seven (7) hours total). b. Additional in−services maybe granted with administrative approval. Compensation will be at the base rate. c. Any time an individual teacher’s presence is required at any meeting, conference, training, etc., said teacher shall be compensated at the teacher’s regular rate.
