Common use of In-Service Relocation Assistance Clause in Contracts

In-Service Relocation Assistance. Employees in regular positions who are required by order of their appointing authority to change their principle place of residence because of a reassignment to meet the needs of the service or because of layoff will be granted time off with pay not to exceed two (2) working days and up to four hundred dollars ($400.00) reimbursement towards the actual cost of relocating their personal furnishings and belongings.
