Section 125 Premium Conversion Plan. (a) Eligible employees shall be provided with a Section 125 Premium Conversion Plan. The purpose of the Plan is to provide employees a choice between paying premiums with either pre-tax salary reductions or after-tax payroll deductions for health insurance, dental insurance, voluntary life (to the IRS specified limit) and accidental death and dismemberment insurance premiums The amount of the pre-tax salary reduction or after-tax payroll deduction must be equal to the required insurance premium.

  • Casual Conversion (a) A casual employee who has been rostered on a regular and systematic basis over a period of 26 weeks has the right to request conversion to permanent employment:

  • Sick Leave Conversion On January 1 of each year, an employee may convert up to a maximum of 30 hours accumulated sick leave at fifty percent (50%) cash value for the sole purpose of reimbursing the employee for medical costs. This conversion is subject to the following:
