INCIDENT CONDITIONS. 1.1 The following conditions apply in circumstances where an employee has either been deployed to a declared incident, or placed on standby or on call in anticipation of a deployment and approved by a person authorised by the employer, (e.g. Regional Duty Officer), until the incident is declared safe or attendance ceases. 1.2 Flexitime and compressed working week arrangements for those employees required to participate in an incident will be suspended at the time an incident is declared. In such instances, payment at the prescribed overtime rates will apply for all excess hours worked over and above the employee’s ordinary hours.
