PRESENT CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS. All rights, benefits and working conditions which employees now enjoy, receive or possess as employees of the Employer shall continue to be enjoyed and possessed insofar as they are consistent with this Agreement but may be modified by mutual agreement between the Employer and the Union.

Any working conditions and welfare benefits, or other conditions of employment at present in force which are not specifically mentioned in this Agreement and are not contrary to its intention, will continue with full force and effect for the duration of this Agreement.

In the event of any amalgamation, annexation, merger or other corporate change affecting the Corporation, the Ontario Labour Relations Act shall apply.
34.02 Part-time employees shall receive all statutory benefits to which they are entitled.

23.2 All benefits of this Agreement shall, unless otherwise specified, accrue on a prorata basis to employees who work less than full-time.
PRESENT CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS. The Board agrees to maintain present practices with respect to coffee breaks, it being understood that these ten (10) minute rest breaks are to be taken approximately mid-morning and mid-afternoon.
PRESENT CONDITIONS AND BENEFITS. 13.01 - Upon request of either party, the parties to this Agreement shall consult meaningfully at the appropriate level about contemplated changes in conditions of employment or working conditions not governed by this Agreement.

22.3 In the event the Village merges or amalgamates with another body the Village shall make a sincere effort to have the rights of employees protected. These rights shall relate, among other things, to seniority, earned employment benefits, wage rates and the right to bargain collectively. It is recognized, of course, that the Village in such circumstances cannot guarantee to employees’ continuance of rights and benefits enjoyed under the Village.

32.02 All provisions of this Agreement are subject to applicable laws now or hereafter in effect. If any law now existing or hereafter enacted, or proclamation or regulations shall invalidate any portion of this Agreement, or if there is an amalgamation, annexation, merger or other structural change of the Employer, the entire Agreement shall not be invalidated and the existing rights, privileges and obligations of the Employees and the Employer shall remain in existence.
