Common use of Increment Denied Clause in Contracts

Increment Denied. i) The City may deny a salary increment to an employee if it is dissatisfied with the employee’s performance. Where the City intends to deny a salary increment to an employee, the City shall, at least two (2) weeks, but not more than six (6) weeks before the due date for the salary increment of the employee, give the employee the reason for the denial in writing.
