Indemnity - Dues Check-off. The District shall not be liable to the PA by reason of the requirements of this Article for the remittance or payment of any sum other than that constituting actual deductions made from the pay earned by the employee. In addition, the PA shall indemnify and save the District harmless from any liability resulting from any and all claims, demands, suits or any other action arising from compliance with this Article. The PA agrees to refund to the District any amounts paid to it in error.

  • UNION DUES CHECK-OFF On a weekly basis the Employer agrees to deduct uniform dues and initiation fees from the paycheck of those covered employees whose individual written unrevoked authorizations are on file with the Employer and to transmit the amounts so deducted to the Union monthly. Said deduction authorizations shall be in such form as to conform with Section 302(c) of the Labor Management Relations Act of 1947.
