Common use of Independence and Objectivity Certification Clause in Contracts

Independence and Objectivity Certification. The IRO shall include in its report(s) to Amgen a certification that the IRO has: (a) evaluated its professional independence and objectivity with respect to the reviews conducted under this Section III.E; and (b) concluded that it is, in fact, independent and objective in accordance with the requirements specified in Appendix A.

Independence and Objectivity Certification. The IRO shall include in its report(s) to Amgen AmeriCare a certification that the IRO has: has (a) evaluated its professional independence and objectivity with respect to the reviews conducted required under this Section III.E; III.D and (b) concluded that it is, in fact, independent and objective objective, in accordance with the requirements specified in Appendix A.A to this CIA. The IRO’s certification shall include a summary of all current and prior engagements between AmeriCare and the IRO.‌

The IRO shall include in its report(s) to Amgen Amerigroup a certification or sworn affidavit that the IRO has: (a) it has evaluated its professional independence and objectivity with respect objectivity, as appropriate to the reviews conducted under this Section III.E; nature of the engagement, with regard to the Marketing Review or Enrollment Initiative Review and (b) that it has concluded that it is, in fact, independent and objective in accordance with the requirements specified in Appendix A.objective.E.
