Independent Commissioning Services. The Owner may consider the delivery of the Project in subparts / phases with certain portions amended into the Part A: pre-construction services contract as advanced construction start activities and the remainder included in the Part B: construction services contract. The XXXX contractor shall be required to provide a 100% Performance and Payment Bond for the full value of construction activities contracted under the Part B: construction services contract and/or amended into the Part A: pre-construction services contract. The associated construction documents may be issued in smaller construction packages. This shall not control or dictate the XXXX contractor’s combination of the Work into subcontractor bid packages or the award of subcontract agreements. A Notice to Proceed and Notice of Acceptance (Substantial Completion) will be issued separately for any advanced start activities Part A: pre-construction services and the Part B: construction services contracts. XXXX contractor understands that time is of the essence and agrees to take all reasonable steps to avoid delays in the construction and delivery of the Project.
