Common use of Indirect Network Interconnection Clause in Contracts

Indirect Network Interconnection. Either Party may deliver traffic destined to terminate at the other Party's end office via another Local Provider's tandem subject to the reciprocal compensation arrangements of this Agreement provided that the Party originating the traffic has established a compensation agreement with the other Local Provider appropriate to such arrangement. Neither Party shall deliver traffic destined to terminate at the other Party's end office via another local provider's end office. In addition, except as provided in section 3.4 of this Article, neither Party shall deliver traffic destined to terminate at an end office subtending the other Party's access tandem via another local provider's access tandem.
