Common use of Individual Seniority Clause in Contracts

Individual Seniority. Except as provided in Section 4.3, individual seniority shall not be recognized or applied to employees working on the Project; provided, however, that group and/or classification seniority in a Union’s MLA, as of the effective date of this Agreement shall he recognized for purposes of layoffs.
