UNION RECOGNITION AND CRAFT EMPLOYMENT. Section 3.1 Recognition The Contractors recognize the Trades Council and the Unions as the sole and exclusive bargaining representative for the craft employees engaged in Project Work. Contractors further recognize that the Unions shall be the primary source of craft labor employed on the Project Work except as may otherwise be provided for in this Agreement. In the event that a Contractor has its own core workforce, said Contractor shall follow the procedures outlined in Section 3.8 below.

  • UNION RECOGNITION The Employer recognizes the Union as the exclusive bargaining agent for all employees for whom the Union has been certified.

  • Union Recognition and Rights The Union agrees that any activities relevant to the administration of the Collective Agreement or other Union activities, which must be conducted during working hours, will be carried out in a professional manner with primary consideration to instructional duties. Where the College feels that such activities are interfering inappropriately with instructional duties, the Parties agree to meet and resolve the matter.

  • RECOGNITION AND BARGAINING UNIT 2.1 The City hereby recognizes the Union as the exclusive collective bargaining representative, for the purposes stated in RCW 41.56, for the bargaining unit as defined by the Public Employment Relations Commission certification contained in Appendix A of this Agreement.

  • EMPLOYMENT ASSISTANCE I understand that the College has not made and will not make any guarantees of employment or salary upon my graduation. The College will provide me with placement assistance, which will consist of identifying employment opportunities and advising me on appropriate means of attempting to realize these opportunities.
