Informal Resolution Procedure. The parties are encouraged to utilize the informal resolution process. The party asserting a grievance shall attempt to resolve the problem through informal communication with the appropriate supervisor. The informal resolution process shall be completed within fifteen (15) days of the date of the occurrence giving rise to the grievance or from the date when the grievant might reasonably have become aware of the occurrence. The President of the Senate or designee may accompany the faculty member to assist in the informal resolution process.
