Common use of Informal Stage Clause in Contracts

Informal Stage. If an Occasional Teacher who is covered by this Agreement has a grievance, the Occasional Teacher shall discuss the complaint with the Principal, where applicable. Such complaint shall be brought in writing to the attention of the Principal, where applicable, within thirty working days of the incident giving rise to the grievance. The Principal, where applicable, shall attempt to resolve the dispute informally and shall give his/her decision, in writing, within ten working days of receiving the grievance.
