Informing Administration – New Graduate Credits Completed. It will be the duty of each Member of the Bargaining Unit upon completion of graduate course work to inform the administration in writing by the September board meeting of the number of completed graduate credits. In order to promote master level educators, all graduate credits are limited to counseling and guidance, special education, health and physical education, curriculum and instruction, educational administration, the member of the bargaining unit’s field of study, or are related to an endorsement awarded by the South Dakota Department of Education. Graduate credits completed after the September Board of Education meeting, will not be effective for that school year, but can be added to the current salary the following year.
