Common use of Injury in the Line of Duty Clause in Contracts

Injury in the Line of Duty. If a unit employee is injured while in the line of duty, the balance of medical or hospital care not covered by Worker’s Compensation or hospitalization insurance will be furnished by the Board, at a designated hospital. Any wage differential between Worker’s Compensation and salary will be reimbursed by the Board for the contractual year in which said injury occurs following depletion of leave time.
