Common use of INS Leave Clause in Contracts

INS Leave. The Employer shall grant an unpaid leave to any employee who is absent from work due to court or agency proceedings related to immigration matters and who returns to work within thirty (30) business days. The Employer shall grant a reasonable extension of the period of absence if the request is made within the seven (7) business day period. The Employer will require documentation of appearance at such proceedings.
