Common use of INTERMITTENT ABSENCES Clause in Contracts

INTERMITTENT ABSENCES. 24.01 Except for probationary and part-time employees, intermittent absences without loss of wages will be paid up to three (3) scheduled working days per calendar year at the employee’s regular rate when the employee is unable to perform their regular duties for any reason. The intermittent absence allowance to employees who have less than a full year of service will be calculated on a pro-rated basis to the nearest day.
