Internship. Minimum of Class A Professional Educator Certificate or National Board Certification plus three years’ experience in their field of specialization and currently teaching classes in the candidate’s area(s) of specialization. If no Class A or National Board Certified teacher in the candidate’s area(s) of specialization, then the unit head may document and grant an exception for a CT who meets the other criteria but holds a Class B Professional Educator Certificate.
