Common use of Involuntary Reassignment/Involuntary Transfer Clause in Contracts

Involuntary Reassignment/Involuntary Transfer. An involuntary reassignment or transfer may be made when a vacant position falls within the scope of the employee’s credential and the reassignment or transfer would satisfy the criteria for the position. Where all criteria considered are deemed equal by the District between two or more employees who may be subject to an involuntary reassignment or transfer, the least senior employee will be reassigned or transferred.
