Common use of JOB DESCRIPTION AND CLASSIFICATION Clause in Contracts

JOB DESCRIPTION AND CLASSIFICATION. A. For each classification, job descriptions will be developed after ratification of the Agreement. Said descriptions shall be developed jointly by the employer and the Association/Union. The descriptions shall be distributed to all current bargaining unit members and to all new bargaining unit members when hired by the District. The descriptions will include at a minimum: 1. Job title and description 2. Minimum requirements 3. A specific statement of required tasks and responsibilities B. Any evaluations of bargaining unit members’ work performance shall be based upon said job descriptions. C. The basic compensation of each bargaining unit member shall be as set forth in Article 17. There shall be no deviation from said compensation rates during the life of this Agreement.
