Common use of Job Injury Clause in Contracts

Job Injury. An employee who is injured on the job and does not complete that day’s work or is otherwise not permitted to return to work, shall receive pay for the entire workday and such pay shall not be charged against sick leave or accident leave; provided, the employee is sent home or is otherwise not permitted to work by a medical doctor, chiropractor, or osteopath on the approved list of the insurance carrier of the Company.
