JOB POSTINGS AND PROMOTIONS. 11.01 It is recognized that it is the policy of the Corporation to promote qualified regular employees from within the Corporation whenever possible. 11.02 (a) The term "vacancy" as used in this Agreement shall be defined as any permanent job opening of more than forty (40) consecutive working days' duration. A "temporary vacancy" shall be defined as any job opening of less than forty (40) consecutive working days' duration or longer with the approval of the Union. However, vacancies of more than (40) working days caused by employees being on vacation, off sick, on Workers' Compensation, or on an approved leave of absence shall also be considered temporary.
