JOB SHARING.
Section 1. “Job sharing position” " means a full-time position in the classified service that may be held by more than one (1) individual on a shared time basis whereby the individuals holding the position work less than full-time.
Section 2. Job sharing is a voluntary program. Any employee who wishes to participate in job sharing may submit a written request to the Functional Unit Manager to be considered for job share positions. In any event, the Agency Employer contribution for insurance benefits in a job share position is limited to the amount authorized for one (1) full-time employee. Each job share employee shall have the right to pay the difference between the Agency Employer paid insurance benefits and the full premium amount through payroll deduction.
Section 5. For the purpose of layoff, individuals filling a job share position which totals a full-time equivalent shall be considered as part-time employees at the time the position has been affected by a layoff.
Section 6. If a vacancy exists and if the Functional Unit Manager determines that job sharing is not appropriate for the position or if the Functional Unit Manager is unable to recruit qualified employees for the job share position, the remaining employee shall have the right to assume the position on a full-time basis. Upon approval of the Functional Unit Manager, the remaining employee may elect to transfer to a vacant part-time position in the same classification or to voluntarily demote. If the above conditions are not available or acceptable, the employee agrees to resign.

If during the event of downsizing/layoff, a job share position is transferred on a nonvoluntary basis the transfer shall not affect the job share status unless this is not possible due to operational need.

JOB SHARING. Section 1. “A. Job sharing position” means a Sharing is defined as one full-time position in job being shared by two or more employees. The person initiating the classified service that may be held by more than Job Share positions must have been an employee for at least one (1) individual on a shared time basis whereby the individuals holding the position work less than full-timeyear.

Section 4. Job sharing employees shall be entitled prorated in accordance with the percentage of the work performed by each job-sharing member. Disability coverage will be available to employees working 50% or more of the 1,820 hour/2,080 hour contract.
E. Employees who job share will receive prorated seniority and prorated salary credit and shall share fringe benefits not to exceed the cost of one full Agency paid insurance family coverage benefit package. Employees on share time will have the option to pay their share of fringe benefits via payroll deduction or in a lump sum payment on the date the Job Share position begins.
1. The seniority listing shall be revised: Initial date of hire will be retained. A credit system will be added to the existing seniority system with one full year service equaling one year's credit. A full year will be defined as 1,820 /2,080 hours Technology Services.
2. Credit (as explained in E. l.) for one (1) pay step increases must be accumulated in full year units by January 1 to be eligible for movement for that contract year. January 1 changes shall be effective for the balance of that year. Salary computation shall change only on January 1 or beginning of the school year and shall be in full-year credits only.
F. The responsibilities of the Job Sharing assignment shall be divided and allocated according to a plan designed and agreed upon by the job sharers and their supervisor. This will be reviewed by the Superintendent (or his/her designee) and the Association.
G. Job Sharing shall be regarded as a permanent position, similar to any other full time position based on a pro rate or part- time position. Job Sharing terminates when one of regular hours scheduled per week the employees voluntarily quits his/her part of the position. Job Sharing positions will normally be made at the beginning of the school year. It will be recognized by the parties that if one of the job sharers terminates employment or per month whatever is appropriate. In any eventbecomes incapacitated or otherwise unavailable, the Agency contribution for insurance benefits in Employer must be free to: First: Offer to increase the workweek of the remaining job sharer. Second: Recall a job share position laid-off employee who is limited fully qualified to the amount authorized for one (1) full-time employee. Each job share employee shall have the right to pay the difference between the Agency paid insurance benefits and the full premium amount through payroll deduction.

JOB SHARING.
Section 1. “Job sharing share position” " means a full-time position in the classified service that may be held by more than one (1) individual on a shared time basis whereby the individuals holding the position each work less than full-timetime but not more than full-time combined.
Section 2. Job sharing is a voluntary program. Any employee who wishes to participate in job sharing may submit a written request to the Functional Unit Manager their immediate supervisor to be considered for a job share positionsposition. The Functional Unit Manager immediate supervisor shall determine if job sharing is appropriate for a specific position and will recruit and select employees position. The requesting employee shall be responsible for recruiting another employee for the job share positionsposition. Where The Division Personnel Department will maintain a list of employees requesting to job share, and upon request will give the Functional Unit Manager determines list to employees requesting to job sharing is appropriate, the management agrees to provide written notification to all job share applicants of available job share positions in their office in the Agencyshare.
