Job Training. At the request of either the Employer or the Union, the Parties shall meet in accordance with Article 7.5 Union/Management Committee for the following purposes: (a) planning training programs for those employees affected by technological change; (b) planning training programs to enable employees to qualify for new positions being planned through future expansion or renovation; (c) planning training programs for those employees affected by new methods of operation; (d) planning training programs in the area of general skills upgrading. Whenever necessary, the Parties shall seek the assistance of external training resources such as the Human Resources Development Canada and Provincial Ministry of Labour or other recognized training institutions.
