Joint Apprenticeship Committee. (a) For any mutually agreed upon apprenticeship program, BCRTC and CUPE agree to establish a Joint Apprenticeship Committee. Such committee will be comprised of two (2) Union representatives and two (2) Management representatives. (b) The Company shall further appoint one member to serve as a "Coordinator". The "Coordinator" will be the Safety, Security, Training and Development Manager or a Labour Relations representative. This member will only "vote" on issues when agreement cannot be met by the other four members. (c) Union members attending committee meetings outside of their scheduled working hours will be paid straight time rates.
