Common use of JOINT CITY/UNION COMMITTEE Clause in Contracts

JOINT CITY/UNION COMMITTEE. The parties agree to work cooperatively to ensure the success of this policy. As such, a Joint City/Union Committee shall be established with 2 members each from the City and the Union. The Committee shall meet at a minimum on a quarterly basis and, in addition, on an as-needed basis to address any implementation and other matters of mutual interests concerning this policy. The Committee may also discuss adding or deleting covered classification from this policy. The Director of Human Resources shall make a final decision based on the recommendations from the Committee.
