Common use of JOINT CONSULTATION Clause in Contracts

JOINT CONSULTATION. (a) Where new or additional equipment is required, affected employees shall be consulted prior to purchase or rental. (b) The Employer agrees not to initiate White Noise in any present or future University facility without prior consultation with the Union. (c) Where renovations (which may affect the working areas of the employees) are planned for an existing building, employees from the working area concerned shall be consulted regarding such renovations, before renovations may begin. (d) Where a permanent change is considered in the location of work areas or in working conditions, the employees concerned shall be consulted before any changes may begin.
