Joint Life Annuities Where the Beneficiary. Is Not the Clergyperson's Spouse. If the Clergyperson's interest is being distributed in the form of a joint and survivor annuity for the joint lives of the Clergyperson and a nonspouse beneficiary, annuity payments to be made on or after the Clergyperson's required beginning date to the designated beneficiary after the Clergyperson's death must not at any time exceed the applicable percentage of the annuity payment for such period that would have been payable to the Clergyperson using the table set forth in Q&A-2 of section 1.401(a)(9)-6 of the Treasury regulations. For purposes of the preceding sentence, if the Clergyperson has not reached age 70 on his or her annuity starting date, the difference in ages between the Clergyperson and the Beneficiary is reduced by the number of years the Clergyperson is younger than 70 on the Clergyperson's birthday in the calendar year that contains the annuity starting date. If the form of distribution combines a joint and survivor annuity for the joint lives of the Clergyperson and a nonspouse beneficiary and a period certain annuity, the requirement in the first sentence of this Section will apply to annuity payments to be made to the designated beneficiary after the expiration of the period certain.

  • Rollovers of Settlement Payments From Bankrupt Airlines If you are a qualified airline employee who has received a qualified airline settlement payment from a commercial airline carrier under the approval of an order of a federal bankruptcy court, you are allowed to roll over up to 90 percent of the proceeds to your Traditional IRA, within 180 days after receipt of such amount, or by a later date if extended by federal law.   • Public Benefit It is Reaction Retail’s understanding that the commitments it has agreed to herein, and actions to be taken by Reaction Retail under this Settlement Agreement, would confer a significant benefit to the general public, as set forth in Code of Civil Procedure § 1021.5 and Cal. As such, it is the intent of Reaction Retail that to the extent any other private party initiates an action alleging a violation of Proposition 65 with respect to Reaction Retail’s failure to provide a warning concerning exposure to DEHP prior to use of the Products it has manufactured, distributed, sold, or offered for sale in California, or will manufacture, distribute, sell, or offer for sale in California, such private party action would not confer a significant benefit on the general public as to those Products addressed in this Settlement Agreement, provided that Reaction Retail is in material compliance with this Settlement Agreement.
