Common use of Jury Duty Pay and Material Witness Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty Pay and Material Witness. (a) Employees, summoned to Jury Duty (including Jury Selection) or subpoenaed as a material witness shall be paid wages amounting to the difference between the amount paid them for such services and the amount they would have earned had they worked on such days. This does not apply if the employee is summoned on his/her regular day(s) off.
