Common use of Jury Duty, Witness in a Court Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty, Witness in a Court. If an employee is required to perform jury duty or is required by subpoena to appear for court as a witness, the employer shall pay him the difference between the jury duty pay or witness fees received and the daily wages he would otherwise have earned at his regular straight time hourly rate.
