Common use of Lead Pay Clause in Contracts

Lead Pay. If the Employer establishes a permanent lead person for any of the classifications listed in this Agreement, the rate of pay for such lead person classification shall be seventy-five ($.75) per hour above the rate of pay for the applicable classification. The decision as to whether a lead person classification will be utilized shall be made in the sole discretion of the Employer. Any lead position shall be posted and filled in accordance with Article 8(E). Qualifications and clearly defined duties for the job shall be posted by the Employer.

If Effective July 1, 2000 if the Employer establishes a permanent lead person lead, who leads a function or employees, for any of the classifications listed in this the Agreement, the rate of pay for such lead person classification shall be seventy-five fifty cents ($.75.50) per compensated hour above the rate of pay for the applicable classification. The decision decisions as to whether a lead person classification will be utilized shall be made in the sole discretion of the Employer. Any permanent lead position positions shall be posted and filled in accordance with Article 8(E). Qualifications and clearly defined duties for the job shall be posted by the Employerposting provisions of this Agreement.

Effective March 1, 2001 the rate of pay for such lead person shall be seventy-five cents ($.75) per hour above the rate of pay for the applicable classification. The decision as to whether a lead person classification will be utilized shall be made in the sole discretion of the Employer. Any lead position shall be posted and filled in accordance with Article 8(E8 (E). Qualifications and clearly defined duties for the job shall be posted by the Employer.
