Common use of Lead Teachers Clause in Contracts

Lead Teachers. Teachers who are appointed as lead teachers in elementary and middle school buildings shall receive a stipend established by the Board. Teachers who are interested in becoming a lead teacher may submit a written request to their school building principal. The school building principal will make the final determination as to the appointment and placement of elementary lead teachers. Elementary Lead Teachers will be the contact person when a building administrator is out of the building for a pre-scheduled event or an illness.
