Common use of Leave Beginning Clause in Contracts

Leave Beginning. Within the Last Five (5) Weeks of the Academic Term. The District may require an employee who begins family and medical leave during the five-week period before the end of an academic term to continue taking leave until the end of the term if the: - Leave will last more than two (2) weeks, - Employee would return to work during the two-week period before the end of the term, and - Leave is not for the employee’s own serious health condition.
