Leave, Board of Directors. A nurse who is elected to the Board of Directors of the Ontario Nurses` Association, other than to the office of President, shall be granted leave of absence without pay. Nurses shall continue to accrue seniority and service during such leave of absence. Leave of absence under this provision shall be in addition to the Association leave provided in Article 13.02 (a) above. During such leave of absence, the nurse’s salary and applicable benefits shall be maintained by the Employer, and the Association agrees to reimburse the Employer in the amount of full costs for such salary and applicable benefits.
