Leave for Care of Ill Members of Immediate Family. a. Leave may be granted to a tenured teacher to care for ill members of the immediate family upon request by the teacher, recommendation by the President, and approval by the Board. Sufficient proof must be submitted to the President that leave or extended leave is necessary before the request shall be granted.
