Common use of Leave for Court Appearances Clause in Contracts

Leave for Court Appearances. When summoned to serve on a jury or when subpoenaed as a witness in criminal or civil proceedings, an employee shall continue to receive regular pay. The employee shall turn over to the College any monies received for a court appearance. Leave of absence to appear in one's own defence will be without pay.
