Common use of Leave for Religious Observance Clause in Contracts

Leave for Religious Observance. If an employee has religious affiliation which requires the observance of a religious holiday which falls on a working day, said employee shall be granted leave for such observance. Said leave will be with pay, and in no case shall total usage of said leave exceed two (2) days per school year. Arrangements must be made with the building principal at least three (3) school days prior to such leave.
