Conference Leave. Upon written request, supported by a copy of an invitation, an employee shall be granted leave paid at full salary of up to two thirty-fifths of their Appointment Contract(s) to present papers at academic conferences. Such leave shall not be claimed if an authorized exchange of services agreeable to the employee can be arranged.

Conference Leave. (a) A practitioner shall be entitled up to a maximum of 2 weeks paid conference leave, during each year of continuous service. Part time and sessional practitioners shall receive a pro rata entitlement according to their contracted number of hours/sessions. (b) This leave shall not accumulate for more than two years. If the whole or part of this leave is not taken the entitlement to untaken leave shall lapse unless deferred by agreement between the practitioner and the Employer.
Conference Leave. Upon the request of an employee, the Employer may authorize the employee to attend a conference related to his/her area of assigned responsibility. Application and reimbursement procedures shall be in accordance with Employer policies.
Conference Leave. ‌ Subject to the provisions of paragraph 7.01, employees who wish to attend an academic conference that conflicts with their scheduled duties are entitled to be absent in order to attend such conference, provided that adequate arrangements have been made with the Department Chair, through written notice at least three (3) weeks in advance of the absence, to re-schedule assigned duties and student contact hours.

Conference Leave. 26.10.1 The following employees are entitled to the provisions of this clause: 1. Registrars in their 5th and higher years of the salary scale, and 2. Those registrars who have successfully completed the first part of their vocational training examination requirements and a further 12 months service. In any event it is not intended that RMOs will access this provision until their 3rd year of registrar training 26.10.2 Entitled employees as provided for in clause 26.10.1 above shall be granted a total of eight days additional leave to attend appropriate conferences. Entitled registrars shall receive a maximum of $6,500 expenses in total in respect of the total conference leave provided for in this clause. 26.10.3 The parties acknowledge that this entitlement is intended to be portable between District Health Boards. 26.10.4 Employees having completed their seventh year on the registrar scale, who continue employment as a registrar, in addition to the above shall be entitled to paid conference leave according to the following scale: Eighth year 1 day per annum Ninth year 2 days per annum Tenth year 2 days per annum Over ten years 3 days per annum.

Conference Leave. The District may authorize absences for unit members to attend conferences. Such absences will be treated as leave with pay.
