LEAVE OF ABSENCE FOR EXCLUSIVE REPRESENTATIVE BUSINESS. Designees of the exclusive representative shall be granted up to seven (7) days of paid short-term leaves of absence for organizational business. The Exclusive Representative shall reimburse the District for all substitute costs for each absence. The parties agree, insofar as it is practicable, to schedule mediation or arbitration proceedings outside the regular teacher duty day.
