Leave of Absence for Negotiations. If operational needs permit, leave of absence with pay and without loss of seniority will be granted to employees who are representatives of the Union Bargaining Committee to attend meetings of the Bargaining Committee and to carry on negotiations with the Employer, provided the Union reimburses the Employer in full cost of wages and benefits.
