Common use of Legal Assistance Clause in Contracts

Legal Assistance. The Employer will provide to the employees such legal assistance as will be required or needed as a result of the acts occurring when and while said employee is acting in his/her official capacity as a police officer and is in lawful performance of his/her police duties and responsibilities. Lawful performance shall be construed as proper, acceptable practice of a qualified police officer.
