Legal Prohibitions on Transfers. 8.7.1 Notwithstanding any other provisions of this Article, a Member may not voluntarily transfer to a school offering Elementary and Secondary School Classes that is ranked in deciles 1 to 3 on the Academic Performance Index if the Principal/site administrator of the school refuses to accept the transfer. The District will not require or instruct any Principal to accept such a transfer.
